Help Prevent HAI

The saint is a significant improvement over existing disposable tourniquets.

We’ve developed the saint to be absolutely ideal for clinical use - ideal for the patients who require it, ideal for the staff who use it, and ideal for helping to prevent the spread of HAI.

For patients

It’s comfortable – exceptionally so. Our unique Teflon®-containing silicone glides easily over the skin, and maintains its width well during elongation, spreading the pressure evenly across the skin ensuring it doesn’t feel too tight. It’s also been designed not to over-tighten, so will provide just the right amount of pressure to allow easier venous access, without causing discomfort.

It’s free from latex, and doesn’t contain accelerants found in other latex-free products like nitrile. Allergy to latex affects up to 2% of the population12, and although allergy to nitrile and other latex-free gloves is rare13, with the increasing use of non-latex materials a rise in reported cases is expected.14

For staff

Our patent-pending design makes the saint incredibly easy to use. Simple to apply, and readily released when finished with, it also won’t over-tighten, so helps to ensure your results are as accurate as possible and your patients remain comfortable.

For infection control

The saint is single-use, so you won’t transfer bacteria from patient to patient. It comes packaged in boxes designed to fit existing glove-dispensers, so you can always find one when you need one, and it’s now available in cannulation packs, to help you maintain a clean field when inserting peripheral cannulae.
